Toddler Care (2-3 years old)

A Place for Curious Toddlers to Learn, Play and Grow

The toddler years are filled with exciting changes. Children between the ages of 2 and 3 are developing new words, testing their independence, building physical skills and discovering more about the world around them every day.

At Fairy Tales Child Care & Development Center, our toddler care program provides a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where young children can explore at their own pace. Through structured routines, caring guidance and age-appropriate activities, we help toddlers build the confidence and foundational skills they need for their next stage of development.

A Caring Place to Learn and Grow

Where active play, encouraging routines and caring guidance help your toddler build confidence and independence.

Loving Guidance for Growing Independence

Toddlers are eager to do more for themselves. Our teachers encourage this growing independence while providing the patience, reassurance and support young children still need.

Through simple choices, classroom routines and everyday self-help skills, children build confidence and learn to express their needs. Whether putting away a toy, washing their hands or trying something new, each accomplishment is recognized and encouraged.

Learning Through Play and Discovery

Play is an important part of every toddler’s day. Our classroom offers age-appropriate activities such as sensory play, music and movement, storytime, art, puzzles and pretend play that encourage children to create, imagine, experiment and explore.

Outdoor play and group activities help toddlers build coordination, confidence and social skills such as sharing and taking turns. These experiences keep children engaged while supporting language, thinking, social and motor development.

Building Language and Communication Skills

Children rapidly learn new words and discover new ways to communicate. Our teachers support language development through conversations, stories, songs, questions and activities that encourage toddlers to express themselves.

Children practice naming familiar people and objects, following simple directions and using words to share their needs, ideas and feelings. Because every child develops at a different pace, our teachers provide patient encouragement each step forward.

What our parents are saying …

“My son was at Fairy Tales from 7 months old until he went to Kindergarten. One of my priorities was an educational aspect to the daycare because he has special needs. My son experienced love, friendship, learning and the best staff a mom could ask for. If Fairy Tales had a Kindergarten, we’d still be there. We LOVED, and still love, Fairy Tales.”

Parent

“I have two kids who go here and we’ve progressed from the infant room through prek, so we’ve gotten to know what each room offers at each age, and always been very pleased with our experience. My kids have always had such caring teachers, engaging and educational activities, and positive social-emotional development opportunities. It’s always a relief knowing that I’m leaving my kids with people who genuinely love them. I highly recommend Fairy Tales to anyone looking for a daycare and/or preschool center.”

Grace Harman

“Truly the best childcare center in the area. My oldest daughter attended and received the best education that has set her up for success as she transitioned to elementary school. My 3 year old attends Fairy Tales now and loves it. Family owned, personable, and a place that you know is ensuring your child is safe/well cared for. If you are ever in need of childcare, I highly RECOMMEND visiting, and I assure you will not be disappointed.”

This was my sons home away from home. He learned so much and made so many friends. Everyone there is so sweet. It’s family-owned. It’s feels like home but also has the fundamentals of school. ♥️♥️
